Hi All, I am looking into building a Sonerai 1 with the plans now available from sonex. What are the actual performance numbers that people have seen with an airframe built to plans? What about different engine sizes such as original 1600cc vs a 2180cc Aerovee?

What are the major modifications that the racers did in the 80s and 90s that made them any faster than a sonerai built stock to plans?
