Any Sonerai expertise near San Antonio?

I am about 1/2 way through all the newsletters .... informative and a little concerning. The VW powerplant appears to have a character of its own. Of course, 8 years behind a Rotax 447 also gave me that perspective as well. I am starting to appreciate my O-360 a little more each day.

To the point - - - I am looking for some person or persons close to my location that can assist with sharing direct knowledge of their aircraft and give me a "show and tell" of their project. I'll even spring for lunch (!). The more familiar I am with these aircraft, the better I can make a purchased decision on the Sonerai 1 I am reviewing.

Nelson, Do you have any pictures or particulars on the Sonerai 1 you are looking to purchase?….If I know the airplane, I may be of some help, even tho I am not anywhere near San Antonio…Ed in South Carolina

I'm an S-1 builder in Granbury, 40 south of Ft. Worth and 70 north of Waco... where is this S-1 that you are looking at located?

I've got a Sonerai 2L that I'm prepping for flight (it's a flying/previously flying bird-in annual but I'm correcting a few small issues). What kind of info are you looking for? I'm in Livingston if you're interested in seeing the airplane.
