Bought a pair of Air Hawk tires (Specialty Tire Co.) from Chief Aircraft in Florida. Had them fo 9 months in the box before putting them on for condition inspection. Inflated. Discovered they were defective- circumferential cracks between the treads down to tire carcass. A&P said Nogo. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer would replace. Instructed me to send them back, which I did at a cost of $30 shipping. Then, they sent them back to me! So, I bought some nice Michelin Condors from Desser. As one of us says, "Buy the best and cry once!"
