I received an email and video of Bob Quick's first flight in his Sonerai. His remarks were few. Apart from great joy at the event, He did note his aircraft was a handful but he was prepared for that. Bob didn't elaborate.

Bob is very skilled at the english wheel and bean bag/soft hammer forming technologies. He can make wheel pants and spinners from sheet aluminum.

If there is interest I could ask him to post his stuff here. I met him on this group but have not seen him post recently.

If my memory serves me well, there was a hiatus of say a year or more between Project completion and first flight.
