Here is the scenario, N91RT 2LS with the front chopped off for use with an a65. I intend to return it to vw power so i will be extending the firewall back to stock, and converting to tri-gear. Here is my question:

can the regular 2L 3” front seat setback also be applied to the stretch airplane?

For clarity this is what i mean, plans sheet and scott plishke’s plane has this mod.

I don’t see why you can’t move the cross member back and recline the front seat. If you are long-legged, just make sure you are still comfortable with ingress and egress from the back seat.

All the best,
Chucker
