And found this little tidbit in the september 1980 issue of “sport aviation,” the one with the brand new sonerai IIL design on the cover.

Page 28:

“Lowering the wing is so relatively simple that owners of either Sonerai 1’s or 2’s can make the conversion on their existing aircraft”. Interesting.
 
i was going through the Monink newsletters available at monerai.com and found something quite interesting.

don johnson made a low wing sonerai 1 in 83, N65SK and had 12 hours on it as of the may-june 83 issue of monink. there is also another low wing sonerai 1 shown on the next page, serial number 0027.

seems that there were more than previously thought/ had been long forgotten?
