That tank can't weigh more than 4-5 lbs. I'm going to the hangar today. I'll weigh it and get back to you.
 
Steve, You're welcome. No trouble at all. I had to go out anyway to work on the airplanes. You can see the tank on my gallery. It is a standard S-1 tank with one boss on the top and two on the bottom/backend of the deep forward portion. This is an 11 gallon tank. Good luck...John
 
Thanks John, I have been looking at your impressive gallery and noticed the metal tabs around the spar area.
On looking at my Sonerai 1 plans this poses a new question which I will post as a new topic .
