I studied the material that Fred referred me to and I set about incorporating them into a Sonerai I. There were many conflicts in the setup that require changes to the spar setup. I am thinking the best compromise would be to include a few of the vertical compression angles, but to leave the lateral one out.
I had to turn ribs 2-7 to the conventional direction in order to be able to secure the compression angles using the spar cap to spar rivets.
So the work in progress is here.

I will have to offset the rear rivet pattern by 1/4", and also move the spar web lightening holes.
I had nearly decided to just build it up as drawn, but I find the fitment of some compression support compelling.
Am I just wasting my time?
