Has anyone ever built a swing away/swing open engine mount/adatption for the Sonerai 2?
Ot other VW base steel-tube frame airplane?
(To access the back of the case.)
Like some radial engines had on much bigger aircraft.
Is there a reason(s) it should not be considered?
Balance? (tippy for airplane despite being inside wheel-span?) Too much stress on one side of light airframe?

Given that the Sonerai II does not have a separate engine mount, being that the engine is bolted directly to the front of the fuselage, it would require completely redesigning the front of the fuselage, adding weight where you really don’t need it.
