I got the VW 2180 conversion engine with my Sonerai 2LS rebuild project, and was watching the Aerovee Engine history video when I noticed a picture of an early version in a Sonerai 2 that had the added oil sump attached to the bottom of the bottom of the engine like we used to run on our baja Bugs and buggies. Is this something anyone is doing currnetly? I would think it would add too much weight, but was curious.
